Conference History

The International Conference on Flexible Automation and Intelligent Manufacturing (FAIM) has a rich and time-tested tradition of excellence. The first FAIM conference was founded in 1991 by Prof. William Sullivan of Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University (USA), and Prof. Munir Ahmad of University of Teesside (UK). Since then, the FAIM conferences were held, in turn, in North America and European countries as listed below.
